Launch Party for Fall•Winter 2017

On Thursday, November 2nd, Word Fountain, the Literary Magazine of the Osterhout Free Library will celebrate the launch of our 14th issue since that first experimental leaflet in the fall of 2009.

There was a two-year hiatus between the spring of 2014 and the summer of 2016 when we re-launched the lit mag with a new look and a new mission, to bring local, national, and global writers of poems and short stories together into one place for our patrons and friends. Winter Release Announcement

Announcing the release of issue #12, Winter 2017.

Join us for our second celebration since the re-launch of Word Fountain this summer. It all takes place on Thursday, January 5th, the first Thursday of the New Year, at the Osterhout Free Library, 71 South Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania at 6:30 pm. Daryl Sznyter’s piece “How to Fall Asleep and Never Wake Up” appeared in our summer 2016 issue and she’s been quite busy since then.
