It’s official, the relaunch of Word Fountain is under way! Friday June 17th will be the party date at our home base, the Osterhout Free Library on South Franklin Street in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The time will be at 7:00 pm. We will have several contributors there at the event to read from the new issue. There will also be some delicious snacks and beverages on hand, so please set it on your calendar app and come join us.
Coming up here on the website we’ll share the list of contributors, a few brief previews, and a little information about the cover art for the new Summer, 2016 issue of Word Fountain, the Literary Magazine of the Osterhout Free Library. Some time after the release party we will also provide an online version for you right here on WordFountain.net.

Congratulations again to John Devers for his first published works in this serial. We are all so proud of John and wait eagerly for his next literary successes to accumulate. Hip, Hip, Hooray! Carry on, John!

Will do! Since this is the first issue after a two year hiatus, the director wants to give them away as a promotion. For ordering that will just mean the cost of shipping. But for contributors, just let me know how many you want, no shipping cost for you. 🙂 We’re going through final proofs now, and should have the printed copies in our hands early next week, ahead of the release party next Friday.

Just for the record, I’d be more than willing to cover the postage cost. I know that shipping is often a killer for small publications.

Thank you for that, Brian, but luckily we have a parent organization that doesn’t want to contributors to the zine to pay the cost. 🙂 We’ll come up with a cost for non-contributors though.
