Upcoming Online Version
We hope you’ve been enjoying the recent posts with glimpses inside the new issue of Word Fountain, the Literary Magazine of the Osterhout Free Library. We’ll continue sharing bits from the issue all week, and soon all of those lovely pieces will come together for the online version of issue #11.
How to Get Your Own
Meanwhile, we hope you’ll still want to get your hands on your own physical copy. They are truly beautiful. For residents of Northeastern PA, you can just stop by one of the four branches of the Osterhout Free Library. For the rest of North America, please order yours by clicking here and making a small donation (We suggest $5 to $10). In the notes box just mention that you would like to have a copy of the Summer 2016 issue of Word Fountain shipped to you. You can also ask for the famous Flood Issue if you’d like.
Upcoming Submission Window
You might have noticed on the sidebar (down below for mobile users) the countdown to the next open submission period. We begin reading for issue #12, Winter 2017, on July 15th. The submission window will close again on September 1st (EST), so please visit the Call for Submissions for complete guidelines and details. We are eager to read your work.
We thank all of the writers, editors, proofreaders, and the grand staff of the library that gave us birth, for all the work and devotion it took to bring Word Fountain back from its two-year hiatus. And thank you, our readers and cheerleaders, for all the encouragement and inspiration that helped make Word Fountain reborn.
Now, get ready to submit something.
