Brian Fanelli’s Book Launch

Brian Fanelli has contributed to several issues of Word Fountain over the years, including our recent summer issue. Since then he’s been a very busy man, giving readings to promote his new book, Waiting for the Dead to Speak (New York Quarterly Books). If you’re in the Wilkes-Barre, Scranton area, treat yourself to an evening of poetry at his book launch this Friday, October the 7th at the Old Brick Theater, 126 Market St. Scranton. From 7 to 9 pm. Brian will be reading sections from the book and signing copies.

If you can’t get to Scranton Friday, he may still be in your neighborhood as he’s reading all over the map from Boston to New York City and Reading, PA over the next week and a half. Check out the schedule on his blog and a recent review at DrunkMonkeys.us!

As if that’s not enough, Brian also recently co-edited with Thomas Kielty Blomain a collection of poems about living in NEPA, called Down the Dog Hole, 11 Poets on Northeast Pennsylvania.

If you can’t see him personally, please click on one of the links above to order Brian’s work for yourself. Thanks for supporting Word Fountain’s writers!
